RTRFM’s RADIOTHON PARTY RETURNS IN 2024, TAKING OVER NORTHBRIDGE INSTITUTION THE RECHABITE ACROSS ALL LEVELS.
RTRFM’s major fundraising campaign Radiothon sends out a signal for 2024, as the local community station celebrates its most important time of the year with a three stage extravaganza August 17 at The Rechabite.
Storming the main hall at The Rechabite are a selection of some of the city’s finest acts. Catch sets from rockers Bribes, the melodic sounds of Foothead, the raucous and awe inspiring The Kill Devil Hills, the punk rock of RATSALAD and the pop-punk of Villain.
Then stick around post midnight for the club and electronic live sounds of Myriad Sun and Sarco.
On the Hello Rooftop we celebrate 10 years of Cloud Waves, the station's modern rap and R&B show that blurs the boundaries between the underground and what’s bursting through to the public consciousness. Join a collection of the show's DJs and party starters, ASLAN, Cee, Hyclass, Mowgli and Nafta!
And downstairs in the Goodwill Club, Club V/A takes over; a collection of local record labels and event labels including Hyde Park Hi-Fi, Midnight Elevator, Mutual Affection and Terminal, each bringing their community ethos to parties for the benefit of Boorloo.
Catch sets from Neesnu, Livvy Ratbag and Screw Face plus the Club V/A DJs back to back.
Subscriptions, donations and ticket sales to RTRFM during Radiothon are essential to raise funds for the ongoing operation of the station. For tickets head to rtrfm.com.au.
Gold Subcribers and Companion Card Holders can enter for free.
