Daniel Seavey - Second Wind TourPop / Live Music / Australian Tour

For the past near-decade, multi-platinum singer/songwriter/instrumentalist and producer Daniel Seavey has journeyed through varying industry molds and frameworks to ultimately find his creative freedom. In 2016,Seaveyco-founded Why Don’t We and embarked upon an unbelievable six-year journey highlighted by over 6 billion global career streams, two RIAA Platinum-certified singles, five RIAA Gold-certified singles, two Top 10 albums on the Billboard 200 chart, and sold out tours with multiple stops at legendary venues such as Radio City Music Hall and more. However by 2022, Seavey was amidst one of the most trying and turbulent periods of his life: weathering family health struggles, professional tumult, and the death of a close friend.

The material he wrote and recorded during this time ultimately became 2023’s Dancing In The Dark EP, introducing himself as a solo artist despite ongoing legal restraints keeping his creative ownership in jeopardy. The project was deemed “punchy and experimental” by Billboard, while Rolling Stone further praised Seavey for his “impeccable production skills, stellar vocals, and personal artistry.” Simultaneously, he embarked on a nearly non-stop run of live shows including a sold-out debut headline run, his festival debut at Lollapalooza, and global support runs for the likes of Benson Boone and Dean Lewis.

Now following an excruciating court process, 2025 sees Seavey emerge a free artist at his brightest, boldest, and most brilliant. Channeling the spirit of early-aughts pop and rock from a 22nd century perspective, he leaves no stone unturned, writing, playing multiple instruments, and overseeing arrangements, production and mixing. In doing so, he presents an inimitable and irresistible sound all his own with his forthcoming debut album, co-produced by chart-topping writer/producer Michael Pollack and featuring stand-out singles “The Older You Get,” “Other People” & “Gateway Drug.”
