QUEER COVEN

Come join our coven of queers for a magickal evening underground in The Rechabite's Goodwill Club! Our Queer Coven events hold the intention of community gathering for connection, creation, and ritual. It is the perfect space to embody your unique self and relish in the magick of community.

6:30PM - 8PM: RITUAL
Spaces limited, registration is essential. Please do not register unless you intend to come along for this section of the night. 

8PM - LATE: QUEER COVEN SOCIAL
Come hang out, chat, drink and eat in a safe, inclusive space for queer folks. You may register for for free entry but registration is not required to attend this section of the night.

This in-person gathering will be held at Goodwill Club at The Rechabite, a queer friendly-and-welcoming venue at 224 William St Northbridge. 

What the night looks like:

A conversation around current astrological themes and a journalling practice. Followed by guided creation of a personal spell candle which includes sourcing herbs, oils, and materials from Queer Coven's traveling apothecary.

We will then go inwards with a meditation and then connect back in with the group through a sharing circle. We then close the night with a group elemental ritual and from 8pm, you will be able to explore magick and creation through Queer Coven's library and divination tools whilst socialising with likeminded people. 

What to bring:

- Journal

- Pen

- Any other magickal items that you feel called to work with during ritual or temporarily add to the group altar we will create for the evening.

GETTING HERE

1. Doors at 6pm for a 6:30pm start so get in early! You're welcome to head in from 5pm and enjoy a drink at Hello Rooftop or meal at Double Rainbow ahead of the show, just be sure to return to the front door at 6pm to check in for the show.
2. The closest car park is CPP State Library, located on 15 Francis St, Perth. City of Perth Parking is Free from 6PM.
3. Don't have a car? Catch the bus or train and jump off at Perth Station, located 5 mins away from the venue.

ACCESSIBILITY

1. The venue has accessible entry, and Goodwill Club is accessible via a lift. There is an accessible bathroom on the same floor as Goodwill Club.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

1. Tickets. If you are attending the 6:30pm portion of the event, please have your ticket/registration ready to scan. 
2. Bring ID. The Rechabite is a licensed venue and you may be asked for a valid ID at the entrance. Anyone unable to provide ID may be refused entry. 
3. Minors. This event is restricted to 18+ only.
