Perhaps best known as a label head (3XL, xpq?, Experiences Ltd.) and producer (Caveman LSD, uon, xphresh, crimeboys, DJ Paradise), Special Guest DJ, a.k.a. Shy, is no stranger to both ambient and club music. He deconstructs genres, shaping them into something entirely new, with his signature sound held together by atmospheric explorations. Bass and breaks morph into textural swerves and moody breaths, which incite dance just as much as introspection. With collaborations with James K, Naemi, Ben Bondy, and Perila, Shy has left a lasting impression on the electronic music scene, breaking molds and pushing boundaries.

Ben Bondy is a Berlin based electronic artist whose work exists at the crossroads of ambient abstraction and tactile, textural experimentation. As a key figure in the loosely connected network of artists orbiting labels like 3XL, West Mineral Ltd., and Motion Ward, his sound resists easy categorization—fluidly shifting between dubby atmospheres, submerged beats, and amorphous sonic landscapes. His music embraces both introspection and playfulness, reflecting a shared philosophy among his peers: an open-ended, deeply personal approach to electronic composition that values curiosity over convention.
