WHAT IS HULLABALOO?
Hullabaloo is Perth’s longest-running and best-loved swing-dancing extravaganza!What began in 2003 is now an incredibly vibrant biennial festival that includes an abundance of social dancing, 2 full days of workshops with international instructors, the very best Perth swing bands and DJs, late nights, the Paul Verevis Mix & Match and loads more.But what really makes Hullabaloo is the people that attend (that’s you!). Each year new friendships are formed with dancers locally and from all over the world.Particularly for 2023, Hulla – as it’s affectionally called by the veterans – is all about reconnecting with old friends and making new ones. Our theme this year is “We’ve missed you, let’s have a party!”Hullabaloo has something for dancers at all levels and is the perfect opportunity to learn something new. Whether you’ve just started lessons or you’re an accomplished lindy hopper, the 2023 Hulla will be unforgettable.
