๐ ๐๐ ๐๐ซ๐ซ๐ซ๐ฉ is perhaps best known as a founding member of Herrensauna โ the beloved queer party originating in Berlin. His DJ sets celebrate a countercultural approach to electronic music, drawing upon an intense, seductive fusion of charged rhythmic tension and obscure sonic imagery. With a comprehensive knowledge of genres ranging from EBM and electro to hard trance and industrial, his ability to weave seemingly disparate references together is the result of years spent dedicated to the underground, in all its grit and glamour. Herrensauna reflected the need for a queer-led techno event in a city where underground and mainstream sit tensely alongside each other, and gentrification threatens the vast network of cultural spaces the city calls itsown. Despite its name - a tongue-in-cheek reference to the clandestine culture of gay menโs saunas - it is the sense of community at the parties, which have now travelled the globe, that lend to their ever-growing influence across the queer diaspora.Employing this approach in his own work, MCMLXXXVโs sets explore the darker end of the spectrum with an open mind, responding to crowds with an instinctive understanding of the nuances between genres, and an innate ability to work any dance floor.
๐๐ ๐ฆ๐ช๐๐ฆ๐๐, born in Philadelphia, raised in Los Angeles, and now based in NYC, is renowned for his genre-blurring DJ sets and productions that traverse footwork, jersey club, house, hip-hop, jungle, and more. As a key member of the Juke Bounce Werk collective, alongside artists like Jae Drago, DJ Noir, and Kush Jones, heโs become a pivotal figure in pushing bass-heavy, polyrhythmic sounds. Signed to Foolโs Gold Records, DJ SWISHA's innovative approach has earned him accolades from outlets like The Washington Post, which named him a leader in a new generation of Black artists reclaiming techno's roots.
๐๐ ๐๐ฎ๐, the Danish-Uruguayan artist, producer, and next-gen DJ, is making waves with their boundary-pushing, genre-defying sound. Known for energetic, playful, fun and experimental approach to mixing genres while referencing popular internet-culture. DJ G2G's unique style has electrified venues from Barcelona's Razzmatazz to NYC's Nowadays. Their collaborations with fashion brands like WOOD WOOD, Dion Lee, and Masculina have showcased their ability to craft immersive soundscapes, while their philosophy of creating a safe, expressive space on the dancefloor underlines their commitment to community.
