ephemera is a fashion show featuring the graduate collections of Maven and Angelene Lee. Formatted as a cabaret/variety show, this visually stunning show is not one to be missed and will not be back again.

Angelene Lee (AWET Undergraduate Scholarship Winner) attempts to evoke a fluidity and ethereal quality to her work, and offers an escape from reality to those who consume it. Inspired by the mythical and mysterious, she draws inspiration in her graduate collection from elements such as mist, clouds and waves in her soft and organic shapes.

Maven is a drag and burlesque artist who has grown and developed themselves within the WA performance scene, and using these influences to further develop their work within their fashion design work. The concept of the collection is centred around “Rites of Passage” and the people, events and times within their life that has brought them to the Rite of Passage of graduation.

Together, Maven and Angelene present ephemera, a show about living in the moment and the idea of fashion ephemera, with feature performances between the collections by Perth’s top cabaret entertainers, to be announced closer to show date.
