ABOUT MIRASIA -

Exploring the depths between music, dance and community, Mirasia is well regarded as an artist and community leader. She is the Overall Mother and co-founder of The House of Silky, holding it down as Ballroom Australia’s resident DJ, and co-founder of Dutty, a party based in Naarm that prioritises music and the QTBIPOC community.

She is also well-known for her skills in performance, music production, and event curation. Mirasia’s recent and up-coming projects span across music production, event development and creation, as well as musical composition and music videos.

In 2022 Mirasia debuted for Boiler Room x Umami, toured Europe and UK playing for We Out Here Festival (UK), Château Sonic (FRN), HÖR (GER) and collaborated with Filth (AKL) x Dutty on their first international instalment of the Naarm based collective. Mirasia recently also played at Pitch Music & Arts Festival b2b with Dutty co-fouder C.Frim last March. Notable releases include producing “Vicious” with MC’s Kevin JZ Prodigy and Jamaica Moana, as well as remixes, performance and creative direction for Aarti Jadu’s “Untitled001” project.
